Art Hotel Orologio

Location was central. Easy to walk everywhere. Breakfast every morning was plentiful with a large assortment to choose from. The front desk was extremely friendly and helpful with dinner reservations, etc... We had a suite on the 3rd floor and there was plenty of room to relax without feeling confined. Pillows and bed were comfortable. With the hotel situated off of the main piazza, we were concerned about the noise level. Happily, we had no trouble with the outside noise that some other travelers mentioned in their review. We would definitely stay here again

Perfect boutique hotel in a perfect location. Not only did we get a free upgrade to a suite but everything about the hotel was, well, perfect: light, spacious room, beds extremely comfortable, bathroom excellent, good wifi, amazing breakfast, impeccable service, outstanding decor - old world but neither old-fashioned nor remotely shabby. For me, a great hotel is all in the details and they get them all right, everything fully thought out from the guest's point of view.. We were overlooking the IV Novembre square, facing the Torre dell'Orlogio and the side of the Palazzio d'Accursio, right next to the Piazza Maggiore. Because we were leaving most of our luggage in our hire car, we used their private garage, which is five minutes walk away, very good for the historic centre.

The hotel is charming and has character. It is located just off the Piazza Maggiore, near enough to walk easily but far enough to reduce most of the noise from the piazza. The room was comfortable and perfectly adequate for two people. Breakfast was a buffet on the premises. There were nice restaurants nearby, including a couple right across the side street from the hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The location was exceptional, just steps away from Piazza Maggiore, shopping and multiple restaurants. Breakfast was outstanding and the breakfast staff were very, very good. Our room was lovely and met our needs well (2 adults, 1 teenager). Housekeeping staff were great and everything was clean and well maintained. The little extras that came with the room, fruit, complimentary water and a small kettle were appreciated.

We stayed at Art Hotel last week and would definitely return. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and our room was so comfortable and had everything we needed. A special thank you to Lorenza for making us feel so relaxed and welcome after a stressful situation prior to our arrival. The hotel is an oasis in the beautiful historical part of Bologna. Thanks to everyone in the Hotel.
